Xbox Game Pass: GTA 5 and Modern Warfare 2 Headline April Additions

Gaming

Hey gamers! Microsoft just dropped the news about the late April 2025 Xbox Game Pass lineup, and it's looking pretty awesome. Get ready for some serious playtime because Grand Theft Auto 5 is making a triumphant return! Yes, you heard that right. That legendary open-world adventure is back on Game Pass!

But that's not all! This time, PC gamers are in for a treat. The Enhanced Edition of GTA 5 is making its PC Game Pass debut. This is huge because it's the first time this version has been available on any PC subscription service. Time to cause some chaos in Los Santos, PC style!

More Bang for Your Buck!

And the goodies don't stop there. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (the 2022 edition) is also joining the party. However, there's a slight catch. You'll need either Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass to access it – at least for now. So, if you're subscribed to those tiers, prepare for some intense multiplayer action!

Another exciting addition is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a turn-based RPG hailing from France. We've been keeping our eyes on this one, and it looks super promising. Get ready for some strategic battles and a compelling story.

The Inevitable Goodbye

As always, with great additions come some departures. A few titles will be leaving Game Pass on April 30th. This includes Sniper Elite 5 and the quirky, Annapurna-published Thirsty Suitors. So, if you're in the middle of a playthrough, you might want to prioritize finishing them up!

Don't despair though! If you absolutely can't live without these games, Game Pass subscribers get a sweet 20% discount before they leave the service. It's the perfect opportunity to snag them for your permanent collection.
