Hey everyone! I've got some exciting news for fans of Trails in the Sky. Falcom just dropped a bunch of fresh info and screenshots for the first chapter, and it looks amazing! We're diving deep into Grancel, meeting some key characters, and checking out some awesome locations.

Meet the Characters

First up, we have Queen Alicia Von Auslese. She's the beloved ruler of Liberl, and everyone seems to adore her. She's known for her diplomatic skills and dedication to her people. Then there's Duke Dunan Von Auslese, the Queen's nephew. He's a bit of a troublemaker, living a pretty wild lifestyle. I'm getting some serious royalty drama vibes here!

And we can't forget Phillip Runall, the Duke's long-suffering butler. He's basically the opposite of his master – kind, patient, and always cleaning up Dunan's messes. Talk about a thankless job!

We're also introduced to Kurt Nardin, a top-notch bracer, and Elnan, the super-reliable receptionist at the Grancel Bracer Guild. It sounds like Elnan is very important to the history!

Finally, there's Lorence Belgar, a mysterious swordsman. I have a feeling he's going to be a major player in the story, even if we don't know what side he is on.

Exploring Grancel

Now, let's talk about Grancel! This city is the heart of Liberl, home to Grancel Castle, a cathedral, the Grand Arena, and embassies from other nations. It's basically the political and cultural center of everything. Also, it's the only major city that wasn't taken over during the Hundred Day War. That says something, right?

The Grand Arena sounds epic! It's where they hold a martial arts tournament during the Queen's Birthday Festival. Swordsmen and fighters from all over come to compete. I'd love to see that in action!

And we also have the Erbe Royal Villa, a beautiful palace with gardens and artwork. It's open to the public, so you can stroll around and feel like royalty, which is pretty cool. The Sanktheim Gate also has a nice place to sightsee!

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter hits PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC on September 19th. I think I need to try it!
