Hey everyone! I've got some exciting news about a cool-looking roguelite action game called Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree. Bandai Namco and Brownies just dropped a story trailer, and it's got me pretty hyped!

So, what's the deal? Basically, you play as Towa, and you're leading these guardians of a sacred tree. There's this big bad force called Magatsu causing trouble, and it's your job to team up with your buddies, build strong relationships, and forge some seriously powerful swords to save Shinju Village. Sounds epic, right?

What to Expect

From what I can see, the game has a really vibrant and beautiful world, but don't let that fool you – it's also full of danger! You'll be exploring all sorts of landscapes, facing off against Magatsu's evil minions, and trying to restore peace to the land. It's the kind of game where you will be on the edge, always. It is really exciting! If you like those types of experiences, this is for you. Even the music, composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto, seems like it will add to the overall experience.

One of the coolest things is that you don't fight alone. Towa teams up with eight different companions, and each one has their own unique abilities and weapons. You can pair them up in different combinations, which means each battle and playstyle feels fresh. You can also try to find your favorite pair. It's all about finding what works best for you.

As you progress through the game and travel through different timelines, the village itself evolves. You can build relationships with the residents, learn about their stories, and even train at the dojo or craft new swords. Every visit to the village feels like a new opportunity.

Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree is launching on September 19th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam. The best part? There's a demo available right now, so you can jump in and give it a try yourself! I know I will.
