Tales of Berseria Remastered Announced for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC!
Hey everyone! Guess what? Tales of Berseria is getting a fresh coat of paint and heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam! Bandai Namco and D.A.G are teaming up to bring this enhanced version to us, and I couldn't be more hyped.
Mark your calendars because February 26, 2026, is when Japan gets it, and the rest of the world follows on February 27. We're talking about a remastered quest for self-discovery, which, if you remember the original, is a pretty big deal.
If you're wondering about what you'll get, there are a couple of editions to choose from. The Standard Edition will cost $39.99. However, pre-ordering gets you a “Super Adventuring Assistance Set” with some useful gels and bottles to help you on your way.
For those who want a bit more, the Deluxe Edition, priced at $59.99, includes the base game plus a "Battle Background Music Pack," a digital art book and soundtrack, and a "Super Growth Support Herb Set." So, if you're like me and love diving deep into the lore and extras, this might be the way to go. And yes, you still get the pre-order bonus.
Having played the original, I can tell you that the story is something special. Velvet, our lone protagonist, goes on a quest for vengeance in the kingdom of Midgand. The game touches on the struggle between emotion and reason, challenging Velvet's convictions as the world pushes her towards order. It's deep stuff!
Key Features
The combat system is also getting an upgrade, allowing you to freely choose Artes and perform combos. Collecting enemy Souls to unleash powerful attacks sounds awesome. Also, the remaster includes quality-of-life improvements like destination markers and the option to disable enemy encounters.
Additionally, this version includes downloadable content from the original 2016 release. That means extra outfits and useful equipment from previous "Tales Of" games! I remember spending hours customizing my characters, so this is a huge win in my book.
I don't know about you, but I'm excited to jump back into the world of "Tales of Berseria" with these enhancements. What do you think? Are you ready to embark on this remastered adventure?
