Square Enix's Final Fantasy Tactics on Steam Triggers a PSP Debt Flashback
Okay, so, Final Fantasy Tactics is back, this time gracing our PCs via Steam with a shiny new version. While that's cool and all, something far more pressing has resurfaced in my mind: Richard Walker, oh, Richard Walker, wherever you are! You still have my copy of Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSP, and it's been over a decade!
I remember the day I handed it over, thinking, "Yeah, he'll give it back in a month or two." I was so naive! This game, a masterpiece of strategic combat and a captivating story of medieval intrigue, was my precious. I hadn't even finished it myself!
We were friends, Richard! We suffered the awkwardness of early careers together! I even held your mic steady while you interviewed someone important (Ray Muzyka). I knelt there like a total goof, waving the mic around, terrified of messing up the audio. Now he is a magic medicine brewer, who would have thought? That should have cemented our bond, but no. You chose the path of treachery! That PSP game, that glorious cartridge, it's still missing!
Now, with Square Enix reminding me of its existence through this Steam release, my fury is reignited! Consider yourself named, Richard Walker! The world must know of your crimes! I hope that when you play videogames the gameplay is awful and when you try to eat, it tastes like ashes!
It's been so long, my PSP battery probably looks like a balloon animal, but that memory stick with my saved game? It remains. It whispers of vengeance, Richard. So, consider this my official, public demand: Return what you owe! The gaming world demands justice!
