SANABI: Free ‘A Haunted Day’ DLC Coming to Switch This Winter
Good news for SANABI fans! The free DLC "A Haunted Day," which already dropped on PC, is heading to the Nintendo Switch this winter, according to NEOWIZ and Wonder Potion. I'm pretty stoked about this because it means more action-packed gameplay on the go!
"A Haunted Day" isn't just some tacked-on extra content; it actually dives into the past, focusing on Major Song before the main game's events. She's investigating a creepy scrapyard during her time with Uigeumbu No. 12. Sounds like a spooky prelude, right?
What's really cool is that the gameplay is getting a shake-up. Forget grappling hooks; this DLC is all about aerial combat. Major Song is armed with a shotgun and can pull off recoverable jumps. So, it's going to be a totally different way to play SANABI. It's like they're giving us a whole new character with a completely unique style.
What to Expect
The DLC packs in eight new stages and two boss battles. I always appreciate when developers put real effort into DLC, and this sounds like it's going to add a substantial chunk of gameplay.
When playing as Major Song, you can perform nimble aerial maneuvers. Besides that, her special skills are that she can recover in mid-air and she is an expert with her shotgun, which makes her a fearsome fighter against even the General.
It seems that Major Song was issued Operation 3 at a robot junkyard outside of Hanyang. As she went deeper, she found a clue to the treason. But there were strangely hostile robots and a disturbing signaling device, so something was off with the junkyard.
In conclusion, I think "A Haunted Day" sounds like a solid addition to SANABI. A free DLC is always welcomed, and the focus on Major Song's backstory with new gameplay mechanics makes it even more appealing.
