Pokémon Champions: New Trailer Reveals 2026 Release and Deep Training System!
Hey everyone! I'm super hyped to share some news from the latest Pokémon Presents – we finally got a good look at Pokémon Champions, and it's coming in 2026! While they didn't give us a specific date, just knowing it's on the horizon is enough to get me excited.
So, what is Pokémon Champions? Well, it's all about battling! You can bring your own Pokémon over from Pokémon Home, or catch new ones to build your dream team. The trailer showed off both online and private battles, meaning you can challenge friends or take on the world. Plus, it'll support both single and double battles, which is awesome for variety!
A New Way to Train
But here's the really cool part: the training system. Forget just leveling up – in Pokémon Champions, you can actually allocate points to specific stats like Speed and Special Attack. This gives you way more control over how your Pokémon develop. You can also manually choose the moves they'll use in battle and fine-tune their stat alignment. It looks like you'll need some kind of in-game currency to do all this, but we don't know how to get it yet.
I think this is a game changer. Imagine being able to really specialize your Pokémon's roles in battle! It's like taking Pokémon battling to a whole new level of strategy and customization. I'm really curious to see how this all plays out and what kind of teams people will come up with.
We first heard about Pokémon Champions back in February with a cinematic trailer, but this is the first time we've seen actual gameplay. And honestly, it looks fantastic! If you're into competitive Pokémon, this is definitely one to watch. I know I'll be keeping a close eye on it!
