Palworld's 'Home Sweet Home' Update Brings ULTRAKILL Collaboration!
Hey everyone! I've got some exciting news for all you Palworld fans! Pocketpair just dropped a trailer announcing the "Home Sweet Home" update, and it's packed with goodies. This update lands on December 17th, so mark your calendars!
First up, and this is a big one, Palworld is doing a collaboration with ULTRAKILL! If you don't know ULTRAKILL, it's a super fast-paced, retro-style FPS. What does this mean for Palworld? Well, you'll be able to get player skins to become V1 and V2, the protagonists from ULTRAKILL. Imagine running around the Palpagos Islands looking like a blood-fueled machine – pretty cool, right? The trailer even shows V1 doing some of its signature moves, so expect some high-speed action.
Base Building Gets a Makeover
As the name "Home Sweet Home" suggests, this update is all about making your base feel more like, well, home. The big addition here is material recoloring. Now, you can finally customize your base to match your personal style. Tired of the same old wooden walls? Paint them blue! Want a pink roof? Go for it! It's all about expressing yourself, and I think that's awesome. With these new creative elements, I can’t wait to see the incredible bases people will create.
While the update looks great, the trailer also dropped another piece of news: Palworld Version 1.0 is coming in 2026. That's a ways off, but it's good to know that Pocketpair is committed to refining the game based on all the feedback they've received during Early Access. They want to make the game even more polished and complete, which I'm definitely on board with. Early Access is all about shaping the game with player input, and it's great to see the developers taking that seriously.
So, get ready for the "Home Sweet Home" update on December 17th! I know I'll be diving back into Palworld to check out the new features and that ULTRAKILL crossover. And while 2026 seems far away, it’s something to look forward to for those who really enjoy the game.
