Hey everyone! Guess what? Acquire, that awesome studio that helped bring us Octopath Traveller (and who are also linked to FromSoftware), is teaming up with Red Dunes Games to drop three brand-new, original games on us! How cool is that?

I've always been a fan of Acquire. They've got some serious pedigree, having worked on iconic titles like Tenchu and Way of the Samurai. And, if you're like me and love a good RPG, you'll know they also lent their talents to Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Seriously, these guys know their stuff.

So, what can we expect from these mystery games? Well, hold onto your hats because they sound WILD. Word on the street (thanks to Forbes!) is that we'll get a sneak peek at the Tokyo Game Show in September. And the titles? Oh, the titles...

The Projects

We're talking Project Tremor, which promises some serious "city-shaking kaiju battles." I'm picturing epic clashes between giant monsters and, honestly, I'm already sold. Then there's Project Umbra, described as "dark fantasy hunts." Sounds like it could be a gritty, monster-hunting adventure, and I'm here for it. Finally, we have Project Shadowcar, a "shadowy espionage thriller." Sneaky spies, thrilling missions... sign me up!

According to Acquire's CEO, Takuma Endo, they are super excited about this partnership and are ready to make something big in the industry: "We've always believed in the power of originality". I totally agree with them, originality it's what makes the industry move.

Red Dunes Games, who are based in Abu Dhabi, is stepping up their game. They're ready to spread their influence across the world with Acquire's help. Sultan Darmaki, CEO of Red Dunes, also seems thrilled with the collaboration, emphasizing that these stories will cross borders, showing that innovation has no region.

All three games are slated to release on PC and major consoles. I can't wait! What about you?
