Oblivion Remastered: Xbox Support Leaks Potential Release Date!
Alright, listen up! The rumor mill is going crazy because some fans are saying they got the release date for the unannounced Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered just by asking the official Xbox support account nicely. Yeah, I'm scratching my head too.
I didn't think things could get any weirder with this game. It's like, it's almost definitely coming out, but Bethesda hasn't officially said anything, despite all the leaks. And get this – it might even drop around the same time as a fan-made Oblivion remaster that's been in development for ages! But hey, Oblivion's always been a little strange, right? (In a good way, of course).
A Twitter user, @Ser_Raven18, says they DMed Xbox Support to ask about cloud play and BAM! The account apparently told them the remaster is coming out on April 21, 2025. That's like, next Monday. Could line up with what recent reports are pointing to!
Of course, we at VG247 had to try it ourselves. We messaged the account to see if we could get the same response. As of now, no reply. But the automated message you get when you DM them says: "Hi there! I'm the @XboxSupport virtual agent. So we can make sure you get the help you need and to get you where you need to go, select one of these options." Sounds like we're talking to a bot, not a real person. Though, who knows, maybe a human is pulling the strings behind the scenes.
We've also reached out to Xbox and Bethesda for an official comment. Fingers crossed!
Are you hyped for the Oblivion remaster whenever it actually comes out? Let me know in the comments!
