New Link and Zelda Actors Revealed for the Upcoming Movie!
Hey everyone! I've got some exciting news for all you Legend of Zelda fans out there. Nintendo just dropped a major announcement: we finally know who will be playing Link and Zelda in the upcoming live-action movie! And get this, they've chosen some fresh faces for the roles.
Zelda will be brought to life by Bo Bragason, and Link will be played by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth. I must confess I don't know them very well. According to a social media post from the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto himself, he's super excited to see them on the big screen. It's always cool when the creator is hyped about the adaptation, right?
Bragason has been in a few things, including the Disney+ series "Renegade Nell" and a film called "The Radleys." Interestingly enough, she also voiced Young Luna in the "Final Fantasy 15" animated film, "Kingsglaive." So, she's no stranger to the world of fantasy!
Evan Ainsworth, at 16, has appeared in the Netflix series "The Haunting of Bly Manor" and "The Sandman." These are very cool productions, so I expect him to do a great job.
Mark your calendars, because the movie is slated to hit theaters on May 7th, 2027. It was originally planned for March, but hey, good things come to those who wait, right? Of course, this means we have a long time to wait for it, so I really hope it's good!
One question that's on everyone's mind is, which game will the movie be based on? Will it be "Ocarina of Time"? "Breath of the Wild"? Or something totally new? And what about Ganon? Will he be the classic pig-like villain, his human form, or a mix of both? So many questions!
On a side note, Nintendo has also registered a copyright for a Donkey Kong film, which suggests that might be the next video game adaptation we see. Honestly, I'm here for it! What do you guys think?
