Single-player, third-person action combat game Nekome: Nazi Hunter is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC! The game will be available through Steam and the Epic Games Store upon release, as announced by developer ProbablyMonsters. "I've built my career on narrative-driven projects, and Nekome: Nazi Hunter is one of my favorite and most personal yet," said Jeronimo Barrera, general manager and game director at ProbablyMonsters. "It's a story where every design decision supports a single point of view. The game tells a story of World War II through an intentionally narrow and human lens, grounded in character and consequence. Vano is hunting Nazis, and it's more than just punching them; every move is a calculated act of revenge that pulls players into his world." In Nekome: Nazi Hunter, you play as Vano Nastasu, a young Romani man whose family is brutally murdered by Nazi soldiers. Inspired by grindhouse cinema, the game follows Vano's journey as he transforms from the hunted to the hunter, leaving a trail of blood across war-torn Europe. It's a personal odyssey of revenge where every kill is earned, but it comes at a cost. Vano must use everything at his disposal to survive as he hunts down those responsible for his family's death. What's interesting is that each encounter requires a different approach. You'll need to scout enemy routes, plan your attacks, and strike with precision, mixing stealth with brutal close-quarters combat to create a symphony of violence where every attack feels personal. It's not just about running in guns blazing; it's about being strategic and making each kill count. The mission structure in Nekome: Nazi Hunter requires you to infiltrate enemy compounds and strategize how to execute your vengeance. Cunning, stealth, and using the environment to your advantage are key to stacking the odds before the real combat begins. From there, it's all about raw, brutal, and bloody close-quarters fighting. Improvised weapons, targeted strikes, and visceral finishing blows will help you fight strategically. There are also notoriety and fear systems that add another layer to the combat. Enemies might panic, hesitate, or even flee based on whether you kill with precision or cause chaos. These systems track your brutality and unpredictability, influencing how enemies react next. Each encounter is a chance for you to craft a brutal masterpiece, and you'll have to decide just how far you're willing to go in your pursuit of vengeance.
