Alright, horror fans, gather 'round! So, you know Hellraiser, right? The classic 80s flick where a puzzle box leads to some seriously messed-up Cenobites and a whole lotta pain? Well, guess what? It's getting a video game adaptation called Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, and I'm actually pretty hyped about it.

Boss Team Games, the folks behind Evil Dead: The Game, are developing it, and Saber Interactive, who are publishing Space Marine 2, are on board to publish. From what I'm hearing, it's gonna be a single-player survival horror game where you play as some dude named Aidan trying to rescue his girlfriend from a hellish labyrinth using the puzzle box itself – the Genesis Configuration. Sounds intense, doesn't it?

But here's the real kicker: Doug Bradley is back as Pinhead! Seriously, it's been like twenty years since he's donned the pins, so that's a huge win for fans. And get this, Clive Barker himself is involved in crafting the story, which, honestly, is reassuring. If Barker's giving it his seal of approval, it's gotta be good, right?

Barker's quote is pretty wild, talking about the seductive pull of suffering and beauty within the grotesque. He sounds confident that the team really understands the Hellraiser universe and that it captures the franchise essence. I really hope so!

Now, the Steam page has a hefty content warning, so, yeah, maybe don't play this one with the kiddos around. As for a release date, your guess is as good as mine. They haven't announced anything yet, so we'll just have to wait and see, for now.
