Hey everyone! Sony and Sucker Punch just dropped a fresh trailer for Ghost of Yotei, subtitled "One Thousand Blades," and it looks awesome. If you enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima, prepare yourself because this one seems to be even better! I was already hyped about it but after seeing this trailer, I can't wait!

The game is set 300 years after Ghost of Tsushima, and this time, you'll be playing as Atsu, a mercenary haunted by her past. Atsu is on a quest for revenge, hunting down the six outlaws who killed her family. Her journey takes place in the unexplored northern landscapes of Japan, promising a whole new world to discover. What I like the most is the promise to explore new allies and build lasting bonds.

What to Expect

According to Sony, you can expect a bold new story set against the stunning backdrop of northern Japan. Atsu's quest across Ezo will lead her to unexplored lands, where she will encounter far more than she initially bargained for. The journey seems difficult and dangerous, but I trust Atsu!

One thing that really catches my attention is the use of the DualSense controller features. I mean, feeling the katana combat with haptic feedback? Mastering the bow and arrow with adaptive triggers? That's the kind of immersion I'm looking for! And with the PS5's lightning-fast load times, you will be instantly transported to those beautiful landscapes.

Speaking of visuals, the game looks absolutely gorgeous. Lush, vibrant environments, snowy ridges, wildflower fields... It's going to be a feast for the eyes. I bet the Tempest 3D AudioTech will create some immersive soundscapes too. I really think that this game will use all PS5 potential.
