Genshin Impact 5.5: Xilonen & Venti Banners - What You Need to Know!

Get ready, Travelers! Genshin Impact has officially unveiled the character and weapon banners for the second phase of version 5.5. Prepare yourselves for the return of some familiar faces and powerful weapons! This phase includes two 5-star character reruns, their signature weapons, and a selection of useful 4-star characters and weapons.

Mark your calendars! The second phase of Genshin Impact 5.5 drops on April 15, 2025, at 6 PM. Let's dive into what you can expect:

Character Banners: Who's Coming Back?

Xilonen is making her first rerun in version 5.5! If you've been waiting to add this incredible support unit to your team, now's your chance. Xilonen excels at shredding enemy defenses while simultaneously healing and buffing your party. She's also known for being relatively easy to build and a fantastic addition to your exploration team.

Alongside Xilonen, we have the Anemo Archon himself, Venti! He's a master of crowd control, particularly effective against groups of smaller enemies. If you're a fan of Venti or aiming to collect all the Archons, this is a good opportunity. However, if you're prioritizing other characters, it might be wise to save your Primogems.

4-Star Character Lineup

The 4-star characters featured are pretty solid. Faruzan and Beidou can be excellent support and sub-DPS options for various team compositions. Yanfei is a decent DPS, especially for beginners, but she might be outshined by other Pyro damage dealers as you progress.

Weapon Banner: What to Expect

The weapon banner will feature Peak Patrol Song and Elegy for the End, the signature weapons of Xilonen and Venti, respectively. The 5-star Sword, Peak Patrol Song, provides a significant DEF boost, making it ideal for characters like Xilonen and Chiori. Elegy for the End is a top-tier choice for sub-DPS and support characters such as Venti, Yelan, Fischl, and Faruzan.

The 4-star weapons on the banner are also worth considering. With the exception of The Bell, most of them are excellent options for support units. So, if you're looking to enhance your support characters' arsenal, this banner might be worth a few wishes.

Remember, the Genshin Impact 5.5 second phase banners will be live until May 6, 2025. That gives you plenty of time to farm those Primogems and try your luck at pulling your desired characters and weapons. Good luck, Travelers!
