Fortnite: Find Jewelry Cases and Hidden Loot

Gaming

Weekly quests in Fortnite often push you to explore the island's hidden gems and lesser-known features. One such quest involves searching a jewelry case, something many players might not have encountered before. Don't worry; these cases aren't too difficult to find once you know where to look. Plus, they offer a chance at some great loot in addition to the XP for completing the quest. So, let's dive into how to search a jewelry case in Fortnite.

Where to Find Jewelry Cases

You'll find jewelry cases at the five Smash N' Grab Jewelry Stores scattered across the island. While some are located in major Points of Interest (POIs), others are at smaller Landmarks or even unnamed locations. Here's where you can find them:

  • Location 1
  • Location 2
  • Location 3
  • Location 4
  • Location 5

All Smash N' Grab Jewelry Stores are marked on the map with a white diamond icon. With all the action happening, it's easy to miss, so keep an eye out!

How to Search and Rob

To search a jewelry case, simply approach it and select the button displayed next to the word "interact" when you're close enough. The button varies by platform, but it's hard to miss since it pops up when you're in range.

Be warned! As soon as you search a jewelry case, the NPC guards in the store will attack. Be prepared to fight or run. It's best to have some decent loot before attempting this heist so you can defend yourself if needed. Luckily, there are usually a few chests around each Smash N' Grab Jewelry Store, so you can gear up quickly.

Rewards and Loot

For the weekly quest, you only need to open one jewelry case. Each Smash N' Grab Jewelry Store has at least three cases, so you have plenty of opportunities. Jewelry cases primarily drop gold bars, but they also have a chance of dropping a Dill Bit. You never know what you'll get, so it's worth opening all the cases in the store to maximize your loot.

Dill Bits are a rarer drop, but they're useful if you need gold bars to spend at an Outlaw Flusher or Black Market. If you don't find a Dill Bit, consider grabbing some Thermite and heading to a vault, as they're guaranteed to be inside.
