Elden Ring Nightreign gets a customizable boss arena mod
Hey there, fellow Tarnished! If you're deep into Elden Ring Nightreign and feel like you're spending all your time getting pummeled by bosses (I know I am!), then listen up. A new mod has emerged, and it's all about giving you the ultimate boss-fighting experience.
Basically, this mod throws you into a dedicated boss arena where you can test your mettle against a whole bunch of tough customers. You know you want to!
Customize Your Battles
The modder, PositronCannon, promises "a standalone game mode focused entirely on fighting bosses." They've also made similar mods for the original Elden Ring and Dark Souls 3, so you know they have some experience. The mod adds a boss selection menu to the Roundtable Hold, featuring pretty much every boss in the game, from Nightlords to those pesky minibosses.
Before you jump into a fight, you can tweak a ton of options to customize your character and the battle itself. You get full access to weapons, can add or remove buffs, set your character's level, adjust your healing flasks, equip talismans, and even buy items for free. If you're feeling cheeky, there are even cheats!
You can also mess with the boss's stats and characteristics. Want to fight a specific version or a mutated enemy? No problem! It's perfect for practicing for those tough expeditions or just messing around with the game's roster of night-ruiners.
While other mods let you warp straight to boss battles, this one really goes the extra mile with customization. In my opinion, this is a game changer!
The modder also has some cool plans for the future, like an "Expedition Boss Rush" mode where you fight through a series of random bosses, get items and buffs, and eventually face a Nightlord. Sounds like a fun way to spend an evening, right?
Now, here's the catch: this mod is designed for solo players only. If you're looking to team up with friends, you're better off sticking with another boss battle mod or the base game.
If you're interested in giving this boss arena a shot, you'll need to grab Mod Engine 3 first. Happy fighting!
