Hey everyone! Great news for fans of retro-style RPGs: Cladun X3 is making its way to the West in 2025! NIS America just announced they're bringing this pixelated action RPG to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC (via Steam). While it's a digital-only release, I'm still stoked to get my hands on it.

For those who don't know, the Cladun series is all about customization. You can tweak pretty much everything, from the characters' looks to their weapons and even the music! In this game, you play as a villain summoned to Arcanus Cella to participate in a deadly competition for world peace. Sounds kind of ironic, right?

To survive, you'll need to power up your character and delve into dangerous dungeons. Think fighting hordes of monsters, avoiding traps, and making alliances with other baddies. You know, the usual villain stuff! You'll be able to choose from six different weapon types and 10 different jobs, each with its own unique stats and abilities.

One of the coolest things about Cladun is the Magic Circle System. It's a unique mechanic where you can assign inactive party members to formations to boost the stats and abilities of your main character. They can even act as meat shields in battle! I always loved this in Cladun because it adds a layer of strategy to the gameplay, making you think about party composition and formations. This game looks like it will have me glued to the screen!
