First things first, you'll need the Racing expansion pack. It's a one-time purchase of $6.99 in the in-game Marketplace. Think of it as your ticket to the big leagues – there's no free ride to racing glory!

Once you're in, you'll need two key things:

• A car worthy of the track.

You can find both under Activities > Racing. Garages cost around $150,000 - $200,000, while cars range from affordable to seriously pricey (millions!). Street races and demolition derbies can be tackled with a cheaper car.

The Grind

Prefer to earn your fame the old-fashioned way? No problem! Dominate Circuit, Demolition Derby, or Street Race Championship cups. Winning these championships lets you upgrade your track record license – Silver, Gold, then Platinum. By the time you hit Gold, you're practically guaranteed fame within the year.

Choosing Your Path

New to the racing scene and low on cash? Start with street races and a more affordable ride. Demolition Derby is a fun, chaotic option but be warned, it’s rough on your car! If you can swing a Stock or Formula car, circuit races offer bigger payouts and a smoother road to fame.
