Okay, so Baldur's Gate 3 is a smash hit, right? But get this: the number of mods people are downloading is absolutely bonkers. Larian, the game's creator, is floored, and I don't blame them! We're talking over 350 million mod downloads. Can you even imagine?! Plus, over 10,000 mods are available. I mean, seriously, the creativity of this community is off the charts.

Swen Vincke, the studio founder, reacted with enthusiasm. He mentioned giant bunnies and other crazy things, suggesting that we should all celebrate with a drink for this amazing milestone. It is awesome to see such passion.

Larian's Mod Picks: Wacky and Wonderful

To celebrate, Larian even shared some of their favorite mods. And let me tell you, they have a sense of humor! They highlighted the "Withers' big naturals" mod. I can't help but laugh, this is really insane!

The craziness doesn't stop there. Imagine decking out your character with inflatable pool floaties or clown makeup. Why? Well, why not?! Also, if you ever dreamed of turning into a car (because, Transformer!), there's a mod for that too. Want Astarion to be even more handsome, or give Raphael a makeover? Lightsabers, grenade launchers, vintage firearms... you name it, it probably exists!

Currently Larian is working on new projects, which is exciting. While we don't know exactly what they are, both will be based on the studio’s own intellectual property. I have high expectations.

However, Wizards of the Coast are interested in making a Baldur's Gate 3 sequel, which might be named Baldur's Gate 4. It's rumored that Invoke, Wizards internal studio, is already developing it. It makes me wonder when the reveal will happen!
